For Long An sticky rice and sticky rice products (dried) at 9,500 – 9,600 VND/kg; An Giang sticky rice (dried) costs 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg.

In the current rice market, rice prices also tend to increase with an increase of 50 – 100 VND/kg. Accordingly, in Dong Thap, the price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuates around 13,000 – 13,050 VND/kg, an increase of 50 – 100 VND/kg; Finished rice IR 504 is at 15,150 – 15,250 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg.

 

Meanwhile, at the market rice channel, rice prices increased by 50 – 200 VND/kg. Accordingly, in Tien Giang, the price of raw rice Dai Thom 8, OM 18 increased by 200 VND/kg to 13,800 – 14.00 VND/kg; OM 5451 raw rice increased by 100 VND/kg to 13,500 – 13,700 VND/kg; IR 504 rice is at 13,100 – 13,200 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg; OM 380 rice maintained around the mark of 13,000 – 13,100 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg. Particularly, raw rice ST 21 and ST 24 remained stable around 14,200 – 14,300 VND/kg; ST 24 rice is at 14,700 – 14,800 VND/kg.

For by-products, by-product prices remain stable, currently the price of IR 504 panels is at 12,900 – 13,000 VND/kg; The price of dry bran remains stable at 7,400 – 7,550 VND/kg.

Notably, in the Mekong Delta region, on weekends, farmers’ rice prices tend to increase. Very few deals are closed.

In the rice market, prices of raw rice and finished products increased slightly, warehouses required frequent purchases but transactions were few. During the week, the rice market continuously adjusted to increase sharply.

At retail markets, the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice is 19,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Nang Nhen rice went sideways, fluctuating around 26,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice is stable at 16,000 – 18,500 VND/kg; Regular rice usually costs 12,000 – 14,000 VND/kg; Regular white rice 16,000 VND/kg; long grain fragrant rice 18,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai Rice 19,500 VND/kg; Squirrel rice usually costs 16,000 – 17,000 VND/kg; Thai squirrel rice 18,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s export rice prices went sideways. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current export price of 5% broken rice is at 643 USD/ton; The price of 25% broken rice fluctuates stably around 628 USD/ton.
