Rice price today June 7, 2024: export rice price decreased slightly

In the rice market, today’s price is flat. Slowly updated by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, IR 50404 rice price fluctuates around 7,400 – 7,500 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice price is stable at 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg; OM 380 rice ranges from 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg. Nang Hoa 9 rice costs 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dried) at 20,000 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice, OM 18 rice and Japanese rice all have the same selling price of about 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the sticky rice market recorded a new slight downward adjustment for Long An dried sticky rice products. Specifically, 3-month sticky rice (dried) went sideways with prices ranging from 9,000 VND/kg to 9,100 VND/kg. Besides, 9,500 – 9,700 VND/kg is the selling price applied to Long An sticky rice (dried). On the other hand, 3-month sticky rice (fresh) and Long An sticky rice (fresh) continued to be stable today.

It is noted that in localities in the Mekong Delta, there is currently a small quantity of rice connected to the Spring-Summer crop. Early Summer-Autumn rice in some localities is deposited by traders at stable prices.

For rice products, the price of IR 504 raw rice fluctuates around 10,800 – 10,850 VND/kg, an increase of 150 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice remains stable at 13,150 – 13,250 VND/kg.

Today’s by-products have a slight increase, with prices increasing by 100 – 200 VND/kg. Currently, the price of dry bran is at 7,250 – 7,350 VND/kg. Accordingly, the price of IR 504 panels remains stable at 10,400 – 10,600 VND/kg. Meanwhile, dry bran decreased by 100 VND/kg to 4,600 – 4,700 VND/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices are adjusted for some rice products. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 30,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice 18,000 – 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 20,000 VND/kg; Regular rice usually fluctuates around 17,000 – 18,000 VND/kg; long-sliced ​​pineapple 19,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 20,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Common white rice 18,000 VND/kg; Soc rice usually costs 17,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice costs 18,500 VND/kg; Japanese rice costs 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam’s rice export prices today continued to decline. According to the Vietnam Food Association, standard 5% broken rice is currently at 577 USD/ton, down 2 USD/ton; 25% broken rice at 558 USD/ton; 100% broken rice remained stable at 478 USD/ton.
