Specifically, IR 504 rice is stable at 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice maintained around 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg; OM 380 rice is at 7,500 – 7,600 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice maintained at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 at 7,600 – 7,700 VND/kg; Japanese rice price is 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; OM 18 rice at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; Long An Sticky Rice price fluctuates around 9,800 – 10,500 VND/kg; Dried Nhon 20,000 VND/kg.
It was noted that in the localities of Can Tho, Kien Giang and Hau Giang today, the demand for buying summer-autumn rice has increased, in which in Tan Thanh (Long An) the price is stable compared to yesterday. For dry rice, demand is low and prices fluctuate slightly.
In the rice market, today’s price is stable and does not fluctuate. Currently, Summer-Autumn raw rice remains stable at 11,550 – 11,700 VND/kg; Finished rice prices remain unchanged at 13,850 – 13,950 VND/kg.
By-products also continue to move sideways, in which the price of broken rice is stable at 10,300 – 10,400 VND/kg and dry bran at 7,050 – 7,150 VND/kg.
At retail markets, rice prices do not fluctuate. Specifically, rice prices often fluctuate around 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice 17,500 – 19,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice 26,000 VND/kg; long-sliced pineapple 19,000 – 20,000 VND/kg; Huong jasmine rice 20,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg. Common white rice 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 19,500 VND/kg; Soc rice usually costs 18,000 – 19,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice costs 18,500 VND/kg; Japanese rice costs 22,000 VND/kg.
The rice market in localities in the Mekong Delta region today is generally still low in volume and transactions are slow. Specifically, in Sa Dec (Dong Thap), rice is in short supply, warehouses give prices depending on the type of rice, and the price of beautiful rice is high. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), rice arrived little, boats were absent, warehouse purchases were good, prices increased slightly for beautiful rice. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is small, transactions are slow, the price demanded by customers is higher than yesterday…
On the export market, export rice prices today continue to remain stable. According to the Vietnam Food Association, the export price of 5% broken rice is currently at 588 USD/ton; 25% broken rice at 562 USD/ton; 100% broken rice remained stable at 485 USD/ton.
